you're getting flare on your hi key, really not acceptable unless you want that look
See my hi key of the maternity shot, no flare, I know you were trained better than this.
That said I like the feel, but most pro photographers would look at it and say mmm bad lighting control. -

yes but i tend to not shoot eh way that every one else does... i like the flair in the photo...
i can shoot them non flair as see in this on http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/Nemesis_Photo/CRW_9085.jpg my qusetion to youis what aobut the Ambercrombie photos in the store that have flair up the wazoooo?....thanks for the comments -

sure you can break the rules but in doing so you still need to make people say wow!

Both of you have good points. If you like it nemesis, if you really like it, then go with it. "Break all the Rules". Not just the "rules".
You do have to make yourself, above anyone else, go WOW! though. If your not WOWed, nobody else will be. But if you are WOWed, and nobody else is, stick with it, they might just come around.fgshd -

You bring up a good point.
I had my ah ha moment at Hallmark.
I finally got to the point in my photography when I made something I liked regardless of the rules and didn't realy care if people liked it.
If I liked it that was enough for me. Because after that initial WOW that I get it's just another photograph.
They are not WOW to me for long but initially it's a rush and very gratifying to create something that says WOW to me.
If people like it that's cool too!! -

well i like it ....... :P i usually only get WOWed by one or two per shoot and in this shoot i was WOWED a few times so its a good day in my mind..

I agree with learning the rules and then breaking them. I think a better controlled flare (maybe coming from behind her into the lens, more all over) would work. Your right there, why dont you try a series of flares to see how you like it the best.
