Here are a couple of shots from a shoot I did for a local San Francisco designer, Ruchika Jain. This is for "The Sutra" summer 2008 collection. They wanted a "catalog ready" look on gray. Shot at BlueSky Studios.

Hey guys!
Just wanted to share a couple photos from a recent shoot. These are not retouched, only for a little color. As a plug, I shot these at BlueSky Studios in San Francisco. This was my first DSLR (5D) tethered shoot. I've tech'd for many, but this was the first of my own.

So this was my first real shoot with professional hair and makeup, a producer and a designer. I had two assistants too (Youa Thao and another friend of mine, Dianna). It was for trade on all people's parts. I'm trying to build my book and contacts so that I can eventually take my book to LA, NY, Tokyo and wherever else I decide. It's going to take lots of hard work...but it's still photography! The worst day making pictures is better than the best day digging ditches.

I shot this yesterday in San Francisco. I got off work early so I decided to drive into the city. Surprised the traffic wasn't bad going in or coming out--I must have been photographing during the worst of it. This is my first real shoot in a while that wasn't for some sort of assignment. Hi everybody!
Great to see everyone so active after school. I've been mostly spending my time freelance assisting, teching and misc. production assisting work. I've only done one personal shoot since I've been here, but thought I'd throw some shots up from it. It was for a designer I met on Craigslist, and it looks like it's going to lead to shooting a fashion show and meeting more buyers in the local Bay Area market.
