Marilyn and her mom came into the studio to get some new modeling portfolio headshots and photography done. Here's a few of their favorite photos from our session.
"I was just about to give up... I wanted a pictures of my daughter that looked like her but high quality. I was looking for a professional not only with the camera but with "what happens after the picture is taken". I also wanted someone my daughter would be comfortable with so she could have a good time and get great photos. We found it all at Wayne Wallace photography! I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer last week. Here's a few of her first choices from our session and her comments after seeing the images from our session together.
Wayne, It was a pleasure working with you. I loved how we made just a head shot session into a full out photo shoot. Your work with natural light is beautiful and artistic. After reviewing my proof's I don't know where to begin! I have so much variety it is overwhelming! Joy needed some new headshots for her modeling and acting portfolio. She was a joy to work with -- hehe ;-) pun intended!
Here's a few of Joy's picks and some sweet words she sent me!
Wayne was very aware of the kinds of pictures I wanted and made sure we were creating exactly what I wanted. There was no ego in the process just a talented photographer making sure I was happy with the product. The whole experience was fun and catered exactly to what I wanted. When I graduated I looked back on my previous work as well to see how far I had come in just 10 short months as well. This is the first model I ever photographed back in 2002. When I got the film back from the lab and saw how great the pictures came out, totally by accident, I was hooked and I knew that this is what I wanted to do for a living.

I recently worked with creative team from HotBox Salon to create some model portfolio images for Nicole. It was a little hot but we had a lot of fun and created some great images. Here's a few shots from the session.

Fashion shoot - Palace of Fine Arts

So this was my first real shoot with professional hair and makeup, a producer and a designer. I had two assistants too (Youa Thao and another friend of mine, Dianna). It was for trade on all people's parts. I'm trying to build my book and contacts so that I can eventually take my book to LA, NY, Tokyo and wherever else I decide. It's going to take lots of hard work...but it's still photography! The worst day making pictures is better than the best day digging ditches.
