The Giggler and the Cowboy
Wednesday, September 30, 2009
Chelsey was a classmate of mine at Hallmark and she emailed me last year and asked if I would photograph her wedding. Well every photographer will photograph another photographer in their life and this is #2 for me. I have to say though, She makes it easy because she giggles so much. It really isn't hard to get expression from her. We had a great time driving around Davenport, IA looking for great locations and we came aways with some really good shots like the one below. If you wanna see more you'll just have to mozy on over to the Nashville Wedding Photographer blog. Leave some blogg'n love, why dontcha!

100% Winners - Class of 2009
Tuesday, July 7, 2009
This post is late but I wanted to share this with everyone.
I had the pleasure of representing the Alumni family at the 2009 HIP graduation. It was a fun, amazing day and I'm glad I had the opportunity to speak this year's class at the beginning during orientation and the end of their Hallmark experience. They are the first class to graduate 100% of those who entered the review process and their work speaks for itself. I'm glad they allowed me to be considered an honorary graduate which means I graduated twice (that's a first too!) I'm also glad to call many of them friend. Just want to share a few words that I shared with them:
Because the client has a need, we have a job to do.
Because the client has a choice, we must be the better choice.
Because the client has sensibilities, we must be considerate.
Because the client has an urgency, we must be quick.
Because the client is unique, we must be flexible.
Because the client has high expectations, we must excel.
Because the client has influence, we have the hope of new clients
Because of the client we exist.

Quitters never win and winners never quit so decide for yourself what you are made of when things get tough. You can "Plan B" every endeavor you pursue but there is no Plan B for passion, there is no Plan B for heart and there is no Plan B for desire. You either have it or you don't. You either want this or you don't. You've invested a lot in yourself and the return on that investment is up to you. You are all winners and I know you will do well.
Congratulations again! Well done.
As always, visit the Nashville Wedding Photographer's website for more of my work.

A Smile So Bright
Monday, June 1, 2009
I had the pleasure to photograph a talented young 16yr old. Brittney is a straight A student who plays piano, violin and guitar. She has a bright infectious smile and she's such a joy to be around. She and her family are members at the church we attend and her mom wanted me to photograph her for her 16th birthday. Here's a shot from our photo session yesterday.

Rainbow Makers
Thursday, April 30, 2009
Tina and Marcus are rainbow makers and their wedding was something special. They were married at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville. It was so special that the Tennessean did an article on their story ( with one of my images ). The daughter of former NFL player Art Moore and Gospel recording artist Gayle Moore, Tina has made a name for herself as a big time personal trainer to a lot of celebrities in the music industry here in Nashville. You may have heard how former American Idol contestant, Mandisa, lost 80 lbs in 180 days. It was Tina who helped with that. Check out their story HERE. and then check out the images we captured.
Gotta say it was a good day!

Meet the Ciavattones
Wednesday, October 22, 2008
I had the pleasure of photographing the former Lindsay Nelson's wedding in Cap Cod recently. It was a gorgeous day on the beach. I'm a bit partial to beach weddings since I was married on one as well. Lindsay and Dan are wonderful together and I'm glad I was there to witness as a photographer and friend. Here are a few shots. Talkin' 'bout my girl
Tuesday, October 14, 2008
Here are just a couple of images I took recently of my little girl. She's 5 months old. First one is at home during the day and the second on the beach at Cape Cod over the weekend. She's growning so fast, but she is certainly a lot of fun. She certainly is not afraid to ham it up for the camera.
