A Smile So Bright

I had the pleasure to photograph a talented young 16yr old. Brittney is a straight A student who plays piano, violin and guitar. She has a bright infectious smile and she's such a joy to be around. She and her family are members at the church we attend and her mom wanted me to photograph her for her 16th birthday. Here's a shot from our photo session yesterday.

High School Senior Pictures from the Midwest

Summer is almost here and we're starting to book the calendar full of seniors from the Midwest including Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, and a few from Colorado, Illinois and Oklahoma. Michelle from Kansas City was our first of the year! She already had a lot of fun and unique ideas already in mind - from exotic animals, to people watching in a coffee shop, and a tender moment with Grandma. With those ideas in mind, we made a visit to the Henry Doorly Zoo and finished at the Quest Center Hilton Hotel where they stayed in Omaha. The whole family came and were a wonderful help in creating the images; I hope the final results reflect the genuine beauty of their daughter.

AJ's High School Senior Portraits

Last week I worked with AJ out in Colorado doing his high school senior portraits.
Here's a few layouts I created from his picks from our session.
Wayne was fun to work with. I felt very comfortable having my picture taken. Wayne photographed my Uncle's wedding and I knew he would rock my Senior pictures too! Working with Wayne was great, we went to several outdoor locations. We got a lot of great pictures and it was hard to pick my final choices. Wayne is high energy, even though it was only 30 degrees and the wind was blowing you would never know by the pictures. He took care of me when I was freezing by giving me multiple breaks when I needed them. I had a lot of say in the clothes and locations which was important to me. I would recommend Wayne to anyone that wants to have extraordinary high school senior pictures and not just the same old boring thing. -- Andrew (A.J.) Best

Senior Session

Karissa is one of our Model Reps for the class of 2010 and we did our first "Inspired Image 2010" session with her over the weekend. She was great to work with and you can't tell from these shots just how cold she actually was. Patrick Stepney, a current student at Hallmark, did a fantastic job helping me out - thanks for all the hard work.

I had fun working with Maya for her senior photos. The session went well and the last photos I took turned out to be my favorite. The sun was setting over the mountains and I found the lighting absolutely beautiful.

Hey Hipsters-
First of all, congrats to the Hallmark class of 2008! Best wishes for portfolio review. Can't believe mine was a year ago already- how did that happen? Be sure and take advantage of the school printers and ink while you can- use every last sheet of paper you have.

Hello hipsters, here is some work... Giving a diferent style to Senior photography! I need to confess I was thinking they look so much like a Musical Group...
