Will is a las vegas actor and needed some new headshots. We had a lot of fun together and these are a few of his favorites.
Wayne has such an upbeat, fun personality that I felt not only comfortable and able to take some of my best photos, but it was also a good time. I knew at every moment I was in the hands of a professional at the top of his game. -- Will

Crystal came in for some new headshots. She's getting ready for her big move to Los Angeles to become a big star! I think she'll do great! We had a lot of fun. Here's a few of our favorites and some kind words she sent me after the photoshoot.
"I have had my head shots taken a few times before, but I was never really quite satisfied with the results. Trying to take the easy and less expensive way out isn't always the best way. I really needed new head shots with good quality. For once I decided to make the right investment with the right photographer. Wayne was absolutely wonderful! I told him what I needed and he made it all possible. He even added is own style as well, which made my pictures turn out even better then I had imaged. I was really nervous at first hoping I chose the right photographer. When I showed up to his studio I was immediately impressed which really made it a bit more comfortable and took a weight off my shoulders because of the professionalism he had. Wayne makes the photo shoot very fun and easy to do. If you're not sure how to move, place your head or what kind of facial expressions to use, Wayne helps you out completely. (Where as most non professional photographers leave it all up to you to decide and if you don't have much experience it doesn't really get you anywhere.) By the end of the photo shoot when we looked over the photos I was so ecstatic because my pictures turned out great!!!! I couldn't choose between them! Even before he touched them up they all looked fabulous! I will definitely use Wayne in the future for head shots or any other pictures I may need and DEFINITELY will RECOMMEND him to anyone who needs photos of any kind! :) THANK YOU WAYNE!!!" -- Crystal Trudelle

Musician Headshots - François Minaux, flutist

François was such a wonderful subject to work with. Headshots can sometimes be very predictable (and I believe it is always good to have some nice solid traditional headshots) but I love it when my clients want to share some of their creative thoughts for the session. It is fun to be able to do something unique as well!
Here is what François had to say about our session together:
“When I first saw my friend’s portrait online made by Raychel, I was impressed by the strong character and natural style of it. So I decided to contact Raychel to get my headshot in Austin.
I really enjoyed my hour long outdoor session with Raychel. We had time to use 5 different backgrounds within the same location. After making almost 200 shots, I could select 14 of them. I didn’t know that I was going to get so many good ones. It was hard to choose but I got exactly what I wanted: something authentic, natural and fresh. During the session, she made me feel relax and she was then able to capture a lot of different emotions from me. I actually saw expressions on my face that I wasn’t aware of before. After that she asked me what style of headshot I wanted, she was improvising on the spot and I could see her burning with ideas. Whenever a musician gets excited on stage during a concert for example, it’s usually contagious. I felt exactly that this was happening during my session and I hope that people will see it when looking at my photos. I could compare her style to something between a live performance and an interview. It was really exciting!”
