Found my Style I Guess....Event Work

havent been able to get much other than events and an occasional studio shoot, the good news is tho I ended up shooting a calendar project for a breast cancer foundation here in providence and is set to be released next week, since Hallmark the calendar had to be my biggest challenge yet to shoot!

Here's an event shot from a VIP party with LL Cool J for his new cd release.

Recent Wedding in Northampton

I shot a wedding in Massachusetts recently. It was great to be back in the area. Fellow graduate T.R. Smith was my co-shooter (more accurate description than second shooter). I learned a lot from him. Here are some of my favorite images. I hope all is well with everyone. Susan

Las Vegas Body Painting Documentary

I was hired to shoot some stills during the taping of a body painting documentary project here in Las Vegas the other day. As the video crew captured footage for a Canadian Fashion TV show HOTBOX Salon owner David Bangham and an artist from Ultra Violet Extreme Performance transformed Stephanie into a fashion runway model. See more images from the shoot here on my .Mac web gallery and my other work at http://www.waynewallacephotography.com

Jason McGrew Photography | Stuff

Ok so my wife (Kaylin) is going to school to be a stylist, last night she came home after one of the makeup artists did some work on her for one of their assignments. When she got home the camera came out and I shot these in about 5 min before we had to leave.

Enjoy

Studio Time

I had been a while since I was in the studio, been mostly doing on location work. So I decided to get some friends in the studio to practice some of that high-key-sort-of-lighting. This is Deyanira, she cuts her own hair and loves to rock. Pretty happy with the results, these are my fav shots.

Erin and Darrel

I did this wedding this past weekend. Got some great shots. I scouted this location the day before to pick my locations for some shoots. Alas, Mother Nature changed those plans. We had fun and it was good practice thinking on my feet to make the best of a difficult situation. See more on my brand spanking new BLOG

New images

I have been playing around with my photoshop techniques lately and trying some new ideas. Here are some images from a wedding we did last month:

Newborn Images

Newborn shoots are never dull and I'm always excited before them and exhausted after them! Elliot Asher was just 7 days old - and able to roll over on her own. Although she is unable to hold the camera still just yet, I did notice some very striking similarities between us - we both get a little cranky when we're hungry and we can sleep through just about anything.

Adam and Breanne

I shot a wedding Saturday. It was a challenge to get nice photos because it was at a casino. Basically it was in a big banquet style room with ugly light. And outside there were cars and people. Even though it was a challenge it was fun and I think I got photos they will like. Here are a few. Or click here to see their sideshow.

Soccer Senior Action

I had so much fun with this senior - however, I advise not telling your clients, "Don't worry about hitting me" when doing something I little bit dangerous, because I got hit hard (and broke a flash). I suggest, at least have some sort of sports shield blocker thingy. To leasons learned, right? Anyway, stop by the BLOG, if you want, for some more shots of her session.
